KBB BROWS IN PHILLY

I’ve stressed so many times how important it is for people in the beauty industry to constantly learn and update their skills. 

Although most of the business in our salon is hair, nails and lashes, we also do waxing! It’s one of my favourite services that we do.

I’ve noticed a lot of our clients would come in for our other services but go somewhere else to get their brows done. Don’t get me wrong, we do have clients who get waxing done with us but they always just ask for “a quick clean up.” I always believed I could do better than just a “clean up.” But then I realized while I could do my own brows well…when it came to my clients, I really wasn’t doing anything more than just a “clean up”.

Cue Kelly Baker. I’ve followed her work for a while and when I saw she was hosting a workshop in Philadelphia I decided to take a quick road trip to learn from the best! For those who don’t know, Kelley Baker is an award winning celebrity brow artist. Her clients include: the Kardashian/Jenner clan, Ariana Grande, Shay Mitchell and much more. 

Needless to say, her work is FLAWLESS and I am SO happy I got to learn from her. I feel much more confident and proud of every brow wax I do since taking her class and my clients are coming in more often to get them done completely vs. just out of convenience.

I love going to classes and workshops. You take in so much more than just the lesson or updating your skills. It keeps you motivated and inspired. The energy you get when you are surrounded by people who share the same goals, ambitions and passion is unreal. No matter what field of work you’re in, take the extra time & invest in growing. It makes a huge difference in your work and mindset.
