thank you for 6 years

I can’t believe it’s been six years since we first opened our doors, and what an amazing six years it’s been. It also marks two years of officially owning and running Glamorous on my own. To sit back and reflect on how much we have grown, the relationships I’ve been able to build with clients & co workers....it’s truly is amazing. 

Thank you to our clients for the continuous love and support that you’ve given us.

I want to thank the amazing women who work at Glamorous. Whether it’s full time, part time or seasonal, I would be nothing without you ladies.

I also want to thank my family and friends for supporting and believing in me, especially when I needed assurance.

And thank you to Glamorous for always challenging me. It’s challenged me to become a better person, taught me how to deal with any hand that is dealt while remaining calm and helping me become a leader. And the more I grow, the more I see the store and my team grow. It’s forced me to be creative and adaptable to different clientele and aesthetics.

Being a business owner is not easy. But balance is everything: work & life, being the “cool boss’ & “mean boss’, being empathetic to clients without being taken advantage of. Keeping your prices affordable without undermining your own worth. These are all daily challenges we have to face. I learned that building a good and strong team is everything. I learned that my team does not work for me, I work for them. I try my best to grow the store, to watch their creativity and passion grow into a career. I’m constantly investing in new products & updating the store to keep up with trends and to help us work more efficiently.

In the end it’s all worth it and I feel blessed to be able to take on any stress to see the growth.
